Foresta Rossa Velasco Vitali / Preview
An exhibition, a special place, the Triennale in Milan, to tell the story of 416 ghost cities around the world.
A dialogue through visual images between two disciplines which are often opposed, but in this collaboration between GruppoC14 and Velasco Vitali, they find the right space where they can bolster each other, have fun and tell a story.
This summer, from 16 July to 1 September, the snowy-white walls of the Triennale di Milano will house the “Foresta Rossa: 416 città fantasma del mondo” (Red Forest:416 ghost cities around the world) exhibition by Velasco Vitali. Curated by Francesco Clerici and Luca Molinari and artistic direction by Alexander Bellman, this exhibition will be an opportunity for visitors to enjoy a wholly original experience: a perfect blend of art and design, geometrics and material, documentation and spirituality. This event uses the medium of painting to present a summary of the considerations developed during previous exhibitions, events which consolidated a working collaboration between Gruppo C14 and the Lombardy-based artist.
