Ai toni chiari del rovere, dei grigi delle pareti, del bianco dei soffitti, si contrappone il nero lineare della cucina, separata da una vetrata scorrevole in ferro e vetro. C14 presents a private residence, an historical apartment in the heart of Milan’s city centre which has been reworked and redesigned to produce a highly modern aesthetic that enhances the building’s old, undisputed charm. The pale hues of oak, the grey walls and white ceilings provide a counterpoint to the linear black in the kitchen, which is separated by a sliding door made of glass and iron. The choice of furniture was guided by simplicity and functionality, classic elegance which has discretion as its distinguishing trait.
