Progetto di riqualificazione di un antico edificio nel centro del borgo di Chiaravalle, a due passi dall’Abbazia. La posizione e il clima che si respirano alla Locanda sono unici. Il verde dei prati, il rosso dei papaveri, i vecchi muri di campagna invitano al riposo. La taverna risorge a nuova vita, brillando di modernità senza dimenticare le sue origini.
I pavimenti originali, a scacchi, sono un link perfetto tra il presente e la storia di ieri. Luci e tavoli raccontano la propria piena appartenenza all’oggi, ma in sottofondo si distingue il sussurro delle sedie e degli arredi vintage, frutto di ricerche certosine nelle botteghe artigiane e nei mercatini locali.

A renovation project of an ancient building in the historical centre of Chiaravalle, close to the Abbey. The Locanda’s position and atmosphere are unique: the green fields, the red poppies and the crumbling country walls are an invitation to relax. The eatery is brought back to life and shine with modernity whilst retaining its historical beginnings. The original chequer-board floor is the perfect link between the present and the history of yesterday. The lighting and tables tell their own story about belonging to the present, while in the background one can hear whispering from vintage chairs and furnishing, the result of meticulously combing antique shops and flea markets.
